They
are sold as Nain Persian Rugs but they are actually made closer to Kashmar.
When we say a rug is from Nain or Tabriz or anywhere else what we generally
mean is that it is from that area or in that style. Kashmar and Nain both skirt
the Dasht-e Lut salt desert in Eastern Iran. Rugs in the Nain style from
Kashmar are worth more when sold as Nain.
